Job Requirements

  • Non-slip shoes are recommended
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check and driver record check
  • Requires significant walking, sitting and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and smelling
  • Lifting up to 100 lbs maximum with frequent lifting or carrying or transporting of food, objects or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Exposure to outside environmental conditions such as wind, rain, cold, snow, extreme heat
  • Exposure to inside environmental conditions protected from weather
  • Ability to deal with temperature changes and noise sufficient to cause distraction or injury
  • Must be able to travel to and from function sites

Job Qualifications

  • No high school diploma required
  • One month related hospitality experience and/or training
  • Developed language skills to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules, and memos
  • Ability to speak clearly, distinctly and with confidence
  • Basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
  • Developed reasoning skills to apply common sense and carry out instructions
  • Ability to professionally handle problems in standardized situations
  • Valid driver's license with a favorable driving record
  • Ability to work well with a diverse group of people

Job Duties

  • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests
  • Remove used dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables
  • Wipe down and sanitize tables and chairs
  • Refill water glasses and assist servers with guest needs as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including floors, service stations, and restrooms
  • Assist with opening and closing duties such as setting tables and stocking supplies
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
