Job Requirements
- Non-slip shoes are recommended
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check and driver record check
- Requires significant walking, sitting and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and smelling
- Lifting up to 100 lbs maximum with frequent lifting or carrying or transporting of food, objects or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs
- Exposure to outside environmental conditions such as wind, rain, cold, snow, extreme heat
- Exposure to inside environmental conditions protected from weather
- Ability to deal with temperature changes and noise sufficient to cause distraction or injury
- Must be able to travel to and from function sites
Job Qualifications
- No high school diploma required
- One month related hospitality experience and/or training
- Developed language skills to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules, and memos
- Ability to speak clearly, distinctly and with confidence
- Basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
- Developed reasoning skills to apply common sense and carry out instructions
- Ability to professionally handle problems in standardized situations
- Valid driver's license with a favorable driving record
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
Job Duties
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests
- Remove used dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables
- Wipe down and sanitize tables and chairs
- Refill water glasses and assist servers with guest needs as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including floors, service stations, and restrooms
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as setting tables and stocking supplies
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
