Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in beverage or food service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

- Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance

Job Duties
- Serve beverages and or food to the guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction
- Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests and act as cashier for the lounge
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner promotes and documents orders for drinks
- Mix garnishes and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
- Maintain proper and adequate set up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all beer wine spirits paper products straws stirrers condiments and produce
- Responsible for maintaining stock cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Receive cash from guests make any change needed verify validity of charges record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all moneys
- Lock up and store all beverages food and other equipment items deposits cash drops and secures bank
- Answer bar phone within three rings and correctly and courteously take room service orders input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest and personnel guests
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Follow safety and security procedures and rules
- Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilize protective equipment
- Report unsafe conditions accidents injuries near misses property damage or loss to supervisor
- Provide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
- Maintain a neat clean and well groomed appearance as outlined in team member handbook
- Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
- Assist other beverage personnel when needed
