Job Requirements
- Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required
- Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more
- Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently
- Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask
- 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Work under direction of restaurant manager or assistant manager
- Communicate daily with kitchen leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe
- Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of dining area
- Maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and being alert to beverage needs
- Prepare dining outlets for service, checking service stations and tables to ensure correct set-up and cleanliness
- Resolve issues for any approaching guests in a professional and timely manner
- Answer the phone and assist with guest seating, serving food or non-alcoholic drinks as requested
- Handle all checks and cash according to procedures stipulated
- Roll silverware, set up food stations or dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
- Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property
