Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of experience in high-volume food service
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Ability to work Thursday to Monday availability
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Physical ability to maneuver around restaurant and use stairs or ladders as needed

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Working knowledge or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Willingness to learn and follow company policies and food safety standards
  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environment

Job Duties

  • Work as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistent and timely experience for guests through customer service and food quality
  • Actively assist fellow team members in meeting the needs of guests
  • Follow company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
  • Engage in continued education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
  • Perform additional duties specific to the position
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas
  • Support to-go order preparation and packaging
