Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred
  • one or more years of recent and related hospitality or restaurant experience preferred
  • successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training preferred

Job Duties

  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • receive and assess food orders from servers and kitchen staff
  • verify correctness and completeness of orders including special requests
  • oversee plating and presentation of dishes
  • monitor readiness of orders and coordinate with servers for prompt delivery
  • conduct quality checks on food items
  • act as liaison between front of house and back of house
  • maintain calm demeanor during high volume periods
  • maintain organized and clean expediting station
  • uphold food safety and sanitation standards
  • clear and reset tables
  • collaborate with waitstaff to refill water, replace utensils, clear plates, provide condiments
  • attend courteously to guest requests
  • maintain supply of utensils, napkins, condiments
  • monitor and clean restrooms
  • assist with general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting
  • adhere to safety and sanitation regulations
  • perform other duties as needed or requested
