Job Requirements
- ability to work all days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical and mental strength and endurance required to perform duties in various environments
- ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
- capability to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate tools and controls
- minimum age of 18 or 21 years or older depending on local regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- current food handler permit
- minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- calm under pressure
- knowledge of safe food handling practices
- capable of following sanitation guidelines
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist in keeping the bar stocked with glasses and ice where applicable
- replenish the supply of clean linens, dishes, silverware, and glasses in dining room where applicable
- assist bar staff with maintaining bar supplies during busy shifts including emptying garbage and removing bus tubs of dirty dishes and replacing with clean bus tubs where applicable
- set tables with napkins, silverware, glasses, salt and pepper shakers where applicable
- serve and refill ice water and other beverages where applicable
- ensure tabletops and settings are aesthetically pleasing where applicable
- remove dirty dishes and soiled items from tables and sweep floors if requisite at the conclusion of meals
- conduct periodic cleaning of restrooms and entryways
- ensure sanitation practices are followed including changing sanitizing solutions at mandated intervals
- protect consumer health with strict adherence to safe food handling practices
- tap kegs and organize keg storage areas where applicable
- demonstrate teamwork and work respectfully with all team members
- perform other related duties as assigned or required
