Job Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Previous experience in bussing or related roles
  • Strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware

Job Qualifications

  • Previous busser, food runner, or expeditor experience preferably from hotel, restaurant, country club, or banquet facility
  • Full-service restaurant, lounge, or banquet experience preferred
  • Must be self-directed and able to follow tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to setup, breakdown, support, and multitask
  • Strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the English language to read event orders and communicate effectively

Job Duties

  • Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course or meal segment
  • Clean up spills and remove glassware
  • Organize counters and reset restaurant/lounge according to manager's plan
  • Perform side work including replenishing condiments and restocking supplies
  • Conduct general cleaning using standard hotel products
  • Adhere to health and sanitation standards
  • Enforce established policies and procedures for Summit Hospitality
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned
