Job Requirements

  • Valid Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required
  • ability to work swing shift and flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations
  • must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude
  • present a well-groomed appearance
  • previous experience or training preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensures excellent customer service for every guest, every time
  • removes soiled glassware and utensils from table and counter tops
  • carries dirty dishes to kitchen
  • wipes tables and seats with dampened cloth
  • sets tables with clean linens, sugar bowls, and condiments
  • wraps clean silverware in napkins
  • circulates among diners and serves beverages such as iced tea and coffee
  • maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
  • ensures that designated work areas, flatware, glasses, dinnerware and other used to serve customers are free from hazards
  • responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X
  • responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations by attending required training
