Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to understand, read and speak English sufficiently
  • No prior experience necessary but hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Must obtain gaming license
  • Must obtain local food handler permit after hire

Job Qualifications

  • Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, with a high school diploma or GED preferred
  • No prior experience is necessary but previous hospitality experience is preferred
  • Ability to understand, read and speak English sufficiently to comprehend guest requests, and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Job Duties

  • Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service
  • Greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, serve beverages, breads, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments
  • Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for re-setting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed
  • Transport dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards
  • Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply
  • Report any suspicious persons or activity immediately to a supervisor
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills or fulfilling special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross-training as a food runner
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program
  • Regular attendance is required
