Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid ServSafe Alcohol Certification may be required
- valid Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification may be required
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- customer service oriented
- basic math and cash handling skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to operate point-of-sale systems and cash-handling experience
- ability to assist with food preparation, setup, and cleaning tasks
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods ranging 6-12 hours during events
- ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs
- ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
Job Duties
- Greet guests in friendly and welcoming manner
- promptly clear dirty tables and prepare table for resetting
- promptly reset all service ware
- maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods including flatware, linen, condiments, wipes down chairs and tables, and clean area
- transport dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area
- perform any general cleaning tasks as assigned
- collaborate with servers to maintain clear communication and ensure prompt service
- assist servers by refilling water glasses, bussing tables, and other support tasks
- follow food safety and sanitation standards
- perform side work such as re-stocking, inventory, cleaning, and opening or closing duties
- assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of restaurant and back-of-house areas
- perform other duties as assigned
