Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • basic math proficiency
  • valid Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain
  • ability to follow health and safety protocols
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct
  • ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • punctual and reliable
  • willingness to complete required training as scheduled

Job Qualifications

  • prior food service and hospitality experience highly desired
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • completes required training as scheduled
  • strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • work schedules include holidays, weekends and alternate shifts
  • must have a valid current Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
  • must know and follow all applicable health standards
  • must maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor
  • flexible availability required due to shift changes

Job Duties

  • handles set-up and re-set of dining room areas as directed including all dishes, glassware, silverware, and linens
  • maintains a neat, clean, organized area for guests and members
  • provides flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and a clean supply to the dining room
  • clears dishware and flatware throughout dinner service
  • completes pre, running, and post shift side-work including stocking areas with supplies as directed
  • provides expeditious service to each guest and member ensuring water glasses are full throughout the meal
  • follows all standard food handling, sanitation, TIPS and health department guidelines
