Job Requirements

  • Education level not specified
  • Previous experience as a busser or janitor required
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be able to understand and follow cleaning and sanitation policies
  • Must attend and successfully complete training programs
  • Ability to stand, walk, handle objects, and lift up to 15 pounds
  • Must adhere to all uniform and grooming standards
  • Must be available to work in a restaurant environment with possible exposure to fumes, chemicals, and smoke

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a busser or janitor
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to understand the policies and procedures used to clean and sanitize a restaurant
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
  • Successful completion of required training programs
  • Compliance with local and state training and certification requirements

Job Duties

  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • Adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant
  • Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
  • Ensure HOH standards, safety and sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Train using tablets or computer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Any other duty or responsibility that management may deem necessary
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties of the restaurant including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables
