Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- no felony, theft, or stealing convictions
- must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- must pass background investigation
- must obtain and maintain a gaming license
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to work evenings, graveyards, holidays, and weekends
- availability for extended hours and irregular shifts
- flexibility to assume additional duties as assigned by management
- knowledge of and compliance with all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- some experience in restaurant or dining service preferred
- knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations
- knowledge of food service standards
- strong communication skills
- ability to read and write basic English
- ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
- professional appearance and demeanor
- knowledge of internal controls
- ability to obtain Food Handlers card
- ability to obtain TIPS certification
- ability to pass Busser I skill set testing
- ability to follow instructions
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Set tables with clean linens and silverware
- remove soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables
- maintain and clean side stations, floors, furniture, and restrooms
- stock items needed for service in side stations
- train new team members
- clear soiled plates and debris promptly
- tend to guest requests professionally
- uphold Title 4 Arizona liquor laws and TOGE training
- maintain sanitary and organized work areas
- operate bus carts safely
- reset dining room tables according to standards
- polish silverware and glassware
- complete opening, running, and closing busser side work
- communicate effectively with team members and guests
- demonstrate Desert Diamond Casino’s Spirit of Service standards
- travel between casino properties as needed
- maintain proper attendance
