Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry trays and cleaning supplies
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Availability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to complete required training modules

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete and pass required training modules both initial and ongoing
  • Know your work schedule for the week arrive at work on time and meet standards for uniform and professional appearance
  • Communicate with manager to understand reservations guest flow large parties and special event needs
  • Set up station and dining room in accordance with standard procedures
  • Maintain an assigned dining room section but be available to help in other sections as needed
  • Bake bread
  • Serve bread and butter and provide refills
  • Keep water glasses filled
  • Follow standards for table maintenance and removal of dishes glassware and silverware
  • Correctly package take-home items and deliver them to guests
  • Thank guests for dining with us and invite them to return when appropriate
  • Bus set and re-set tables according to specifications
  • Perform side duties closing duties and other related duties as assigned by manager
  • Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift
  • Be knowledgeable enough about Eddie Merlot's to provide basic information to guests
  • Follow policies procedures standards and performance expectations related to liquor food handling sanitation and safety
  • Communicate information regarding guest requests complaints and ideas for improvement to managers
  • Work meetings banquets and special events as scheduled
  • Maintain a good team-work environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and sidework
