Job Requirements
- Possess a flexible schedule and able to work evenings and weekends
- must be at least 21 years old
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- must be able to effectively stock wine and non-wine merchandise, set-up and break down structures, tables, etc., and be able to utilize dolly cart and other equipment to assist in moving heavy objects
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospitality or food and beverage service preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- willingness to learn and adapt to guest needs
- basic understanding of customer service principles
Job Duties
- Clear tables after guests leave
- take glasses and tableware to kitchen and place glassware, dishes, etc. in appropriate areas for washing
- promptly clean table tops, chairs and tasting bar
- check floor and clean as required
- reset and arrange tabletops
- prepare and serve pairing plate, boxed lunches and other edibles for guests
- respond appropriately to guest requests, communicate guest requests to servers or manager immediately
- assist with pre/post shift setup/cleanup including basic maintenance such as paint touch up, watering plants, sweeping sidewalk, etc.
- answer phone and assist guests with reservations
- contribute to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere
- perform other duties as assigned by manager
