Job Requirements

  • Possess a flexible schedule and able to work evenings and weekends
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • must be able to effectively stock wine and non-wine merchandise, set-up and break down structures, tables, etc., and be able to utilize dolly cart and other equipment to assist in moving heavy objects

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hospitality or food and beverage service preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • willingness to learn and adapt to guest needs
  • basic understanding of customer service principles

Job Duties

  • Clear tables after guests leave
  • take glasses and tableware to kitchen and place glassware, dishes, etc. in appropriate areas for washing
  • promptly clean table tops, chairs and tasting bar
  • check floor and clean as required
  • reset and arrange tabletops
  • prepare and serve pairing plate, boxed lunches and other edibles for guests
  • respond appropriately to guest requests, communicate guest requests to servers or manager immediately
  • assist with pre/post shift setup/cleanup including basic maintenance such as paint touch up, watering plants, sweeping sidewalk, etc.
  • answer phone and assist guests with reservations
  • contribute to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere
  • perform other duties as assigned by manager
