Job Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma
  • at least 1 year kitchen experience
  • excellent verbal communication skills required
  • knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
  • strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs
  • work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time
  • reach with hands and arms
  • communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word

Job Duties

  • Take orders and deliver food and drinks
  • answer questions regarding menu and drink selections
  • work closely with wait, bar staff and kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently
  • prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils
  • maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs
  • protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
  • other duties as required
