Job Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma
  • At least 1 year kitchen experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required
  • Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs
  • Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word

Job Duties

  • Take orders and deliver food and drinks, answer questions regarding menu and drink selections
  • Work closely with wait, bar staff and kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently
  • Prepare restaurant for lunch/dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs
  • Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Other duties as required
