Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality is advantageous
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Job Duties

  • Reset tables and ensure tables and chairs are free of food particles and water spots
  • set tables with clean linens, china, silverware and glassware with attention to proper positioning of each
  • remove dirty dishes from dining room and carry them to the dishwashing area
  • stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice and any other items that may be needed
  • check on tables during service hours and provide water refills and clearing of dishes
  • respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to server as needed
  • pour coffee, replenish rolls and butter
  • remain on dining room floor to be available and visible as much as possible
  • assist in function set-up and tear-down
  • assist with food delivery as needed
  • other duties as assigned by management
