Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a scheduled shift including stairs and extended distances
  • ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift and reach carrying dishes, products, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • ability to push bus cart and carry trash or linen bags weighing up to 50 pounds
  • must comply with all state gaming regulations
  • must be able to read and write basic instructions
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced high energy casino environment with exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • one year food service experience preferred
  • ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission
  • alcohol beverage card required
  • knowledge of food sanitation and health department regulations
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work in a team
  • knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws and PPE

Job Duties

  • Delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables quickly and accurately
  • working closely with the chef in the kitchen to ensure prompt help on expediting food
  • ensuring all food is presented according to restaurant standards
  • answering guest questions about menu items and ingredients when necessary
  • communicating effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service
  • clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables efficiently after guests leave
  • maintaining cleanliness of the dining room, including floors, chairs, and service stations
