Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years server assistance experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant
- Must obtain San Diego County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for up to 8 hours at a time
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly
- Ability to bend, stoop and climb
- Ability to push and pull
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be motivated, hard-working, and passionate
- Ability to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail and multitasking
- Strong time management skills
- Able to handle guest complaints according to restaurant policies

- Completed anti-harassment and nondiscrimination 1-hour class
Job Duties
- Work with servers to create a great energy and atmosphere
- Greet each guest with a good attitude and a smile
- Take out trash and keep restaurant clean and organized free of dirty plates and glassware
- Run food to tables and ensure guests are receiving their correct orders
- Handle food in a timely manner to ensure optimal food temperature
- Fill water glasses when necessary
- Clear empty food plates when guests are finished
- Wipe down and sanitize tables when guests are done eating
- Keep the restaurant stocked with adequate supplies such as plates, napkins, silverware, and glasses
- Help with dishes when the kitchen is backed up
- Maintain excellent customer service skills and understand the importance of damage control
