Job Requirements
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in wet, hot, humid conditions
- Ability to walk on slippery or uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Prior guest service experience preferred
- Prior work experience in a restaurant preferred
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Understanding of how to assist customers effectively
- Proficiency in clear verbal and written communication
- Proficient written and verbal communication in English, Spanish a plus
- Ability to work under stress
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and environments
- Ability to engage positively with customers
- Ability to collaborate with team members
Job Duties
- Follow designated opening and closing procedures for the restaurant including housekeeping functions
- Ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items out of stock
- Complete side work duties to prepare the restaurant for service
- Engage with guests to meet their needs
- Clean and clear tables efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of bus stations including trash, recycling, compost
- Move tables, chairs, bus stations to facilitate housekeeping
- Complete tasks delegated by manager and assist as needed
