The role of Bus Person at Margaritaville and Landshark is essential to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests. This position involves cleaning and setting tables, general table maintenance, and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment for both staff and guests. As a Bus Person, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness around the front facade of the building, guest restrooms, floors, and surrounding work areas by ensuring these spaces are swept, mopped, and free from spills, trash, and debris. You will gather and clear all soiled tableware and efficiently deliver it to the dishwasher. Organizing and stacking glassware, plateware, and silverware in the dishwashing area will also be part of your duties. Setting tables according to established procedures and procedures with speed and efficiency is a key aspect of the position. Maintaining adequate supplies of ice at all service stations, changing empty bag-in-box sodas, moving tables and chairs to accommodate special functions, stocking service stations with the necessary supplies, and pre-bussing tables are critical tasks to support the serving staff and provide excellent guest service.

Attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene and safety are vital, as you will be expected to keep trash cans clean and emptied regularly, know all table numbers and floor plans within the restaurant, and understand and utilize safety and sanitation practices according to the company’s safety program. Moreover, communication skills are essential since you will be interacting with guests and team members, reporting inventory needs, and addressing safety concerns or other issues to management promptly. Job Duties

  • Maintains cleanliness around front facade, guest restrooms, floors, and work areas
