Job Requirements

No previous restaurant experience required
have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests
be able to lift at least 40 lbs, reach, bend and stoop
be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
availability to work flexible shifts
provide reliable transportation
pass background check if required

basic understanding of guest service principles
ability to work well under pressure
teamwork and cooperation skills
working knowledge of guest languages

Job Duties

Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift
remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
clear tables after guests leave and during service between courses
take soiled tableware to dishroom and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas
promptly clean tabletop, chairs and booths between seatings
check and clean floor as required
reset and arrange tabletop
inspect restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed
respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest requests to server as needed
communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service
assist server as needed with food delivery, especially during large parties and peak periods
thank guests as they leave
be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation as directed by manager
