Job Requirements

  • Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
  • Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a busser in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Clear and reset tables efficiently ensuring they are clean and properly set for the next guests
  • Remove used dishes glassware and utensils promptly
  • Collaborate with servers to provide exceptional service to guests
  • Support servers by delivering beverages refilling water glasses and delivering food orders as needed
  • Continuously monitor the dining area for cleanliness
  • Wipe down and sanitize tables chairs and other surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Keep service stations stocked with clean glassware utensils napkins and other necessary supplies
  • Inform the kitchen and bar staff when additional supplies are needed
  • Assist guests by answering questions providing directions and accommodating special requests when possible
  • Safely transport used dishes and equipment to the dishwashing area using designated bussing carts
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area
  • Collaborate with fellow bussers servers and kitchen staff to create a positive and efficient work environment
  • Be willing to assist in other areas of the establishment as needed
