Job Requirements
- Six months experience as a bus person or working in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
- Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Good judgment and decision making abilities
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment
- Must be able to spend 100 percent of working time standing, walking, and reaching
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift objects from lower to higher positions or move them horizontally
- Must be able to feel or grasp objects of different sizes and shapes
- Must maintain body equilibrium to prevent falls while walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces
- Must be able to climb and ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to communicate clearly in the primary language of the restaurant
- Must be able to hear normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Able to read and interpret safety and operating instructions
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and guests
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by spoken word

Job Duties
- Maintains cleanliness around front facade of the building, guest restrooms, floors, and surrounding work areas by sweeping, mopping, and removing spills and trash
- Maintains positive guest satisfaction by answering questions thoroughly, handling complaints or directing them to a manager, and providing item suggestions
- Gathers and clears all soiled tableware and delivers it to the dishwasher
- Scrapes, racks, and stacks glassware, plateware, and silverware in dishwashing area
- Clears and sets tables according to established procedures and standards with speed and efficiency
- Sets up and breaks down equipment and supplies
- Maintains adequate supply of ice to all service stations and ice bins
- Changes empty bag in box sodas as needed
- Moves tables and chairs for special functions and floor plan adjustments
- Stocks all service stations with glassware, silverware, and paper products
- Pre-busses tables and maintains organized, clean service stations
- Keeps trash cans clean and empty, bringing them in after trash pickup
- Knows all table numbers and floor plans
- Assists in training new staff members
- Completes opening, running, and closing duties
- Maintains knowledge of company products and communicates properly to guests
- Notifies management of low inventory and recommends new inventory
- Performs other duties assigned by management
- Follows safety and sanitation policies
- Adheres to company policies and staff handbook
