Job Requirements
- High school education
- one year restaurant experience as a busser preferred
- ability to carry food and beverage trays effectively
- valid California driver’s license
- ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions
- ability to write routine reports
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 70 lbs
- mental alertness and safety consciousness
- adaptability to varied indoor and outdoor environments
- ability to multitask and handle stress
- well-groomed appearance and adherence to uniform standards

Job Duties
- Sets and cleans dining room tables before, during, and after meal service
- supports servers by carrying food trays to tables
- serves water and bread as guests are seated and maintains service throughout the meal
- stocks server stations with supplies
- sets upside stations and performs side work
- removes soiled dishes, glassware, and linen
- keeps dining area and bus station clean and orderly
- collects trash and performs cleanup and closing duties
- keeps ice bins filled
- advises supervisor of any complaints promptly
