Job Qualifications

  • High school education is required
  • hospitality or related degrees are a plus
  • previous experience as a busser of 1 or more years is preferred but not required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • openness to coaching and mentoring
  • willingness to be cross-trained in multiple restaurant positions

Job Duties

  • Engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with guests
  • respond to questions and know where to find information if unknown
  • clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings including silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins
  • exercise care with restaurant equipment to ensure minimum breakage
  • maintain cleanliness of dining and common areas including tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors
  • proactively assist other team members or as requested by management during downtime
  • notify management of guest comments, suggestions, or complaints
