Job Qualifications
- High school education is required
- hospitality or related degrees are a plus
- previous experience as a busser of 1 or more years is preferred but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- openness to coaching and mentoring
- willingness to be cross-trained in multiple restaurant positions
Job Duties
- Engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with guests
- respond to questions and know where to find information if unknown
- clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings including silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins
- exercise care with restaurant equipment to ensure minimum breakage
- maintain cleanliness of dining and common areas including tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors
- proactively assist other team members or as requested by management during downtime
- notify management of guest comments, suggestions, or complaints
