Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome and a fond farewell
  • engage them in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • provide exceptional guest hospitality and service to ensure guests enjoy their experience
  • responsible for delivering food to the guests on time and accurately
  • assist the expeditor in the final preparation of all dishes before leaving the kitchen
  • assist the expeditor to check dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature based on guest requests
  • transfer important information between the kitchen and FOH staff (e.g., special guest request, dish availability)
  • expert knowledge of the menu, able to answer guest questions and provide recommendations
  • when possible, address and resolve any guest complaints
  • notify management ASAP about any unresolved guest complaints that they need to handle
  • assist the servers with clearing and resetting tables while maintaining very high sanitation standards
  • fill water glasses, polish silver and glassware, and run food to tables
  • always maintain a composed and professional attitude
  • become familiar with all returning guests and know their special requests and needs
