Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
  • must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs
  • previous busser or hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant or lounge
  • ability to handle exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials
  • must be a team player and able to interact with internal and external customers
  • must have current SNHD food handlers card and alcohol awareness card
  • ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook
  • serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
  • properly set-up coffee and bread stations, perform side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • clean machines and appliances, such as coffee and tea makers, glass washers and bread warmer
  • maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the coffee and bread station during service
  • set up bread trays and butter dishes for service, and prepare coffee and tea beverages to order
  • sort soiled china, glasses, and silverware outside the break down area, polish glasses and silverware and restock server stations
