Ema is an upcoming Mediterranean restaurant set to open in January 2026 at The Domain - NORTHSIDE in Austin, Texas. Ema, which means "mother" in Hebrew, offers a fresh and vibrant Mediterranean dining experience inspired by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson's lighter-style of California cooking. Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Physical capacity to lift and move up to 50 pounds

- Basic literacy and comprehension skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is beneficial
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude with a commitment to customer service
Job Duties
- Clean and reset tables and transport dirty dishes to bus tub, tray or dish room
- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Effectively service a minimum of an eight table section
- Safely and effectively move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
