Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • No prior restaurant experience required but useful
  • Must pass all training tests with 90 percent or higher
  • Ability to stand and walk constantly during shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry 11-20 pounds frequently, 21-50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, squatting, and manual manipulation
  • Ability to hear, see, smell, taste, and touch normally
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment including facemasks and non-slip shoes
  • Dependable with good attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing the restaurant for dining service by setting up sections, including polishing and preparing linens, silverware, and glassware before service
  • Greet all guests warmly and personally
  • Assist the service team by removing dishes and glasses from tables and taking them to the kitchen
  • Clear and clean tables after guests finish dining and reset them for the next guests
  • Assist guests with requests or concerns and take action to resolve issues
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as tableware and linens during service
  • Remove trash from receptacles and replace liners throughout the restaurant
  • Polish and restock plates, glassware, and silverware as needed
  • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in all duties
  • Conduct restroom checks to ensure supplies are stocked and remove trash
  • Clean up spills safely in the dining area
  • Assist in preparing rollups for guest use
  • Report to work on time and adhere to scheduling policies
