Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • No prior restaurant experience required although useful
  • Must take and pass all training tests 90 percent or higher
  • Ability to stand constantly walk constantly bend frequently squat or kneel occasionally
  • Ability to use hands fingers frequently
  • Ability to lift and carry 11 to 20 pounds constantly lift carry 21 to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to reach outward constantly and reach above shoulder occasionally
  • Ability to push pull 10 to 25 pounds frequently and push pull 26 to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to climb stairs frequently
  • Ability to hear verbal requests by guests coworkers and managers
  • Ability to see near distance color peripheral and depth perception
  • Ability to smell taste and touch
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as non slip shoes and wear back belt if lifting over 20 pounds
  • Ability to follow food safety program guidelines

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing restaurant for dining service by setting up section including polishing and preparing items such as linens silverware and glassware before they go to the floor and assisting at setting them at the table
  • Greet all guests and co-workers in a warm personal friendly manner
  • Assist service team as needed by removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters throughout guests’ meal and take them to kitchen for cleaning
  • After guest has finished dining prepare table by clearing and cleaning table and resetting for next guest
  • Assist guests with any requests or concerns and take action to correct any problems
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as tableware and linens throughout service period
  • Assist in removing trash from full receptacles and replacing liner
  • Take extra care to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in each duty performed
  • Stock service areas with supplies as required
  • Must be dependable report to work as scheduled and on time and follow all policies regarding scheduling and attendance
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns personal employee or guest injury
  • Follow food safety program guidelines of handwashing bare hands hygiene and health
