Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to lift heavy items
- valid California food handlers card
- physical ability to work on feet for long hours
- strong communication skills
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- No previous restaurant experience required
- willingness to learn
- positive attitude
- ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
- ability to stand for extended periods up to 6 hours
- current, valid California food handlers card
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness by clearing tables and cleaning chairs and booths between seatings
- regularly clean floors, windows, and seat cracks
- Inspect and clean restrooms every 30 minutes
- Respond to guest requests and communicate effectively with servers
- Thank guests as they leave to enhance their experience
- Collaborate closely with servers and hostesses for efficient seating and table utilization
- Assist servers during busy times and with large parties
- Keep Front of House areas clean and presentable
- step in to assist other areas as directed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
