Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs
  • Previous busser or hospitality experience
  • Must have current SNHD food handlers card and alcohol awareness card
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to handle hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials

Job Qualifications

  • Previous busser/hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge
  • Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Must be a team player and able to interact with internal and external customers
  • Must have current SNHD food handlers card and alcohol awareness card
  • Ability to handle exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook
  • Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
  • Properly set up coffee and bread stations, perform side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • Clean machines and appliances such as coffee and tea makers, glass washers, and bread warmer
  • Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the coffee and bread station during service
  • Set up bread trays and butter dishes for service, prepare coffee and tea beverages to order
  • Sort soiled china, glasses, and silverware outside the break down area, polish glasses/silverware and restock server stations
  • Always maintain general cleanliness and stock paper supply in guest restrooms during service
  • Empty trash receptacles, sweep floors, restock all supplies in the dining room, and ensure dining areas and service stations are clean and organized
  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Communicate the needs of guests to front-of-house and back-of-house support staff, servers, managers, and chefs
  • Protect the establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to department of health and company sanitation standards
  • Report all breakage or damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management
  • Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings
  • Update knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities
