Job Duties

  • Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards
  • ensures compliance with all hotel standards and local laws
  • ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation awareness standards
  • perform all necessary tasks for a DRA including polishing china, glass, silver and holloware
  • brewing coffee
  • running food and beverage
  • setup and breakdown of side stations
  • proper breakdown and storage of FOH food requisitions
  • table maintenance throughout service
  • cleaning and clearing of tables
  • perform all sidework as assigned including FOH food service prep and cleaning of food and beverage equipment, tables, chairs, walls, and carpets
  • pick up clean linen from storeroom and bring dirty linen to designated area
  • adhere to all proper trash procedures
  • retain and maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items
  • report to management any need for housekeeping or maintenance of restaurant and restaurant equipment
  • maintain furniture, fixtures and equipment to high standard
  • assist in controlling food and beverage quantities
  • perform proper steps of service for all tables
  • ensure high-quality table sets, service, food quality and presentation
  • ensure positive guest service and respond to complaints
  • respond to guests’ requests in timely manner
  • maintain knowledge of hotel offerings and local surroundings
  • contribute to restaurant sanitation operation and timing of service
  • attend daily stand up meeting
  • contribute to cleanliness and organization of all restaurant space
  • execute all necessary instructions on restaurant event orders
  • encourage and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among co-workers
  • maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance
  • respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies
  • attend all required trainings and meetings
