Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge of basic food safety standards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to carry multiple plates safely and with good pace
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a customer service focus
Job Duties
- Quickly clean and reset dirty tables as per company standards
- Observe and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
- Pre-bus and bus tables as needed, including sweeping the floor
- Maintain consistent focus on food safety standards
- Maintain an outgoing personality and be consistently friendly with excellent communication skills
- Assist as food runner by safely carrying and balancing several plates of food
- Clearly communicate with guests, servers, bartenders, and managers regarding guest concerns
- Refill all non-alcoholic drinks for guests and communicate guest requests to servers
- Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and other dining room needs
- Provide best in class service with a positive attitude
- Interact regularly with seated guests to attend to needs
- Approach all tables warmly and correctly issue food and beverage items
