Job Duties
- consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards
- ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation awareness standards
- perform all necessary dining room attendant tasks including polishing china, glass, silver, holloware and brewing coffee
- run food and beverage and manage setup and breakdown of side stations
- carry out assigned sidework including food prep and cleaning surrounding work area
- pick up clean linen and bring dirty linen to designated area
- adhere to proper trash procedures
- retain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items
- report maintenance or housekeeping needs
- maintain all furniture, fixtures and equipment to minimize breakage
- assist in controlling food and beverage quantities
- perform proper steps of service for all tables
- ensure positive guest service and handle complaints
- respond to guest requests accurately and timely
- maintain knowledge of hotel offerings and local attractions
- contribute to restaurant sanitation and timing of service
- attend daily stand-up meetings
- contribute to cleanliness and organization of restaurant space
- execute instructions on restaurant event orders
- encourage mutual trust and cooperation among co-workers
- maintain professional appearance
- respond effectively in emergencies
- attend all required trainings and meetings
- perform any other duties required by leadership
