Job Requirements
- High school education is required
- Must be punctual, have strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Highly reliable, responsible, honest and focused on supporting the team
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and self-directed
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to prioritize and manage a large section
- Openness to constructive feedback and being coached and mentored
- Openness to possibility of being cross trained in multiple restaurant positions
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Weekend availability is a must
Job Qualifications
- High school education is required
- Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
- 1+ year previous experience in a Busser position is preferred but not required
- Ability to engage effectively with guests and team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Openness to feedback and willingness to be coached and mentored
Job Duties
- Ability to engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with guests
- Respond to questions and know where to find information if unknown
- Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings including silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins
- Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas including tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors at all times
- During any down time, proactively assist other team members or as requested by manager
- Notify management of any comments, suggestions or complaints from any guests
