Job Requirements
- Be punctual to begin work
- Wear proper uniform including black slacks, Black Bear Diner shirt, suspenders, black slip-proof shoes and name badge
- Communicate via radio headset during work shift
- Maintain neat and clean appearance at all times
- Setup dining room tables with place mats and rolled silverware
- Clean and sanitize tables prior to resetting
- Keep floors, booth seats, windows, counter ledges and bathrooms clean
- Clear debris and spills in restaurant walkways and parking areas
- Assist servers as necessary
- Refill beverages and run food when needed
- Coordinate with hosts for seating arrangements
- Keep service stations clean and restock beverage dispensers
- Sweep and vacuum floors at shift end and during closing
- Work overtime when needed
- Report equipment failures and supply shortages to management immediately
- Take breaks on time and return promptly
- Be a team player taking ownership of the entire restaurant
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to multitask including radio headset communication

Job Duties
- Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner before, during and after meal periods
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room floors, booth seats, windows, and counter ledges
- Buss and reset tables using proper sanitation procedures
- Restock and clean bathrooms regularly
- Assist servers by refilling beverages and making food runs
- Clear debris and spills from walkways and parking areas outside the restaurant
- Coordinate with hosts on seating arrangements and keep all service stations clean
