Job Requirements
- Six months experience as a bus person or working in food and beverage industry preferred
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
- Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Good judgment and decision making abilities
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment
- Must be able to spend 100 percent of working time standing, walking, and reaching
- Ability to push, pull and lift objects from lower to higher positions or move objects horizontally
- Ability to grasp objects of different sizes and shapes
- Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or uneven surfaces
- Ability to climb and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently
- Must communicate clearly in the primary language of the restaurant
- Hearing sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness around front facade of the building, guest restrooms, floors, and surrounding work areas by keeping them swept, mopped, and free from spills, trash, and debris
- Maintain positive guest satisfaction by thoroughly answering questions, handling complaints or directing them to a manager, and providing item suggestions and information about the establishment
- Gather and clear all soiled tableware and deliver to dishwasher
- Scrape, rack, and stack glassware, plateware, and silverware in dishwashing area
- Clear and set tables according to established procedures and standards with speed and efficiency
- Set up and break down all equipment and supplies
- Maintain an adequate supply of ice to all service stations and ice bins
- Change empty bag in box sodas as needed
- Move tables and chairs to adjust floor plans for special functions or band performances
- Stock all service stations with appropriate supplies including glassware, silverware, and paper products
- Pre-bus tables of all used glassware, plateware, silverware, and maintain work areas including cleaning and organizing service stations
- Keep all trash cans in service stations clean and empty and bring in empty cans after trash pickup
- Know all table numbers and floor plans in the restaurant
- Assist management in training new staff members within the department
- Complete all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
- Maintain high-level knowledge of company products and happenings and communicate properly to guests
- Notify manager or supervisor of low inventory and recommend new inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Utilize all safety and sanitation practices and report accidents to management
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the Staff Member Handbook
