Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 6-8 hours a day

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain composure under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Ensure that guests are seated at tables that are always clean and properly mounted in the shortest possible time
  • Keep the bathrooms clean and in good condition as well as the perimeter of the restaurant and parking
  • Check the cleanliness of stations of the previous shift and notify the manager if there is a problem
  • Prepare and refill the station for the next or closing shift
  • Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies
  • Check the side duties schedules and perform the necessary functions
  • Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurants
  • Empty trash containers and mop the floor of the restaurant and bar
  • Offer assistance to guests, remove dirty glasses and dishes, and refill drinks
  • Serve ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to patrons and assist servers with bringing food to tables as needed
  • Clean and sanitize during the entire shift
  • Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
  • Keep the Front of House Supervisor informed of any problem or issues of importance and take necessary actions as required
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all store employees to promote a healthy and harmonious work climate
  • Provide a favorable image of Cantina Catrina to promote goals and raise guest recognition
  • Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays
  • Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
