Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or restaurant work preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a busser or other entry-level restaurant role is a plus
- Ability to multitask, remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance, positive attitude
- Work well in a team environment
- Dependable, reliable means of transportation
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day
Job Duties
- Greet all guests with friendliness and warmth
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
- Set table decor, napkins, linens and flowers, etc
- Place tableware and condiments on tables
- Serve water, refill beverages, assist in taking orders
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Provide special accommodations to families with young children
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
