Job Requirements
- Be punctual to begin work
- Wear proper uniform including black slacks, Black Bear Diner shirt, suspenders, slip-proof shoes and name badge
- Use radio headset at all times during shift
- Maintain neat and clean appearance
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime if needed
- Take and return from breaks on time
- Report equipment failures and supply shortages immediately
Job Qualifications
- Ability to multitask effectively including radio headset communication
- Neat and clean appearance
- Team player with willingness to take ownership of the entire restaurant
- Ability to assist guests with their needs
- Experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a professional, friendly and family-oriented manner
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, floors and booth seats
- Buss and reset tables using proper sanitizer
- Clean windows, counter ledges and restock bathrooms
- Clear debris and spills in walkways and parking areas
- Assist servers with beverage refills and food runs
- Coordinate seating arrangements with hosts and keep service stations clean
