Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
Job Qualifications
- A valid CA Certified Food Handlers card
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Previous relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant is preferred
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- High energy and great communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service
Job Duties
- Work with a sense of urgency to anticipate the needs of customers and other team members
- Assist servers with food and beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of stations with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, condiments, and bottled beverages
- Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary
- Keep the back of the restaurant clean and organized
- Maintain appropriate inventory and proper condition of equipment and operating supplies
- Communicate with management and all other service staff regarding all customer needs, comments, or incidents
- Clean all spills immediately and notify other staff members about potential hazards
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned
