Job Requirements

  • A score of 90 percent or better on all Health Department inspections
  • A score of 90 percent or better on all mystery shopper reports
  • Follow all dress code requirements including blue jeans, WS T-shirt or chef shirt, WS hat, black non-skid shoes, no visible tattoos, no outward piercings except clear balls
  • All routine work documented in an operational manual
  • Perform work according to company policies and standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information
  • Provide staff assistance as requested and cover other areas as needed
  • Respect coworkers' name, space, and concentration needs
  • Attend quarterly meetings and yearly evaluations
  • Wear hair above collar length
  • Answer telephone or intercom promptly with friendly and courteous manner
  • Maintain clean and neat work area by performing assigned cleaning tasks
  • Accurately complete assigned paperwork
  • Physically able to stand and walk for 4 to 10 hours per day
  • Lift and carry weights between 10 and 100 pounds
  • Push, pull, and maneuver weights between 10 and 150 pounds
  • Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and perform rotating motions
  • Have corrected vision and hearing
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders frequently
  • Able to communicate effectively and calmly with coworkers and management
  • Be mentally alert and capable of remembering names, details, and instructions
  • Work in moderate temperature and high noise environments
  • Identify and report hazards immediately

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old if hired as Busser
  • Must be at least 18 years old if hired for Maintenance
  • Must be able to speak, understand, read and write English
  • Friendly and upbeat personality
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Ability to work AM/PM shifts as specified by management
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Bring restaurant issues to FOH Manager to take to weekly meetings
  • Meet or exceed Water Street Way standards for cleanliness, product quality and guest satisfaction
  • Implement all systems and forms for Bus/Main Operation
  • Assist in the training of all new Bus/Main personnel as a certified trainer
  • Adhere to all the policy and procedures of Water Street
  • Clear tables of dishes and silverware and reset table for next customers
  • Maintain clean floor areas in the restaurant and take out trash as needed
