Job Requirements

Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs
ability to perform reaching and stooping motions

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a Busser in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required
strong work ethic and attention to detail
excellent communication and teamwork skills
ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects
positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

Clear and reset tables efficiently ensuring they are clean and properly set for the next guests
remove used dishes glassware and utensils promptly
collaborate with servers to provide exceptional service to guests
support servers by delivering beverages refilling water glasses and delivering food orders as needed
continuously monitor the dining area for cleanliness
wipe down and sanitize tables chairs and other surfaces
keep service stations stocked with clean glassware utensils napkins and other necessary supplies
inform kitchen and bar staff when additional supplies are needed
assist guests by answering questions providing directions and accommodating special requests when possible
safely transport used dishes and equipment to the dishwashing area using designated bussing carts
help maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area
collaborate with fellow bussers servers and kitchen staff to create a positive and efficient work environment
be willing to assist in other areas of the establishment as needed
