Job Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
- ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs
- ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Busser in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required
- strong work ethic and attention to detail
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects
- positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently ensuring they are clean and properly set for the next guests
- remove used dishes glassware and utensils promptly
- collaborate with servers to provide exceptional service to guests
- support servers by delivering beverages refilling water glasses and delivering food orders as needed
- continuously monitor the dining area for cleanliness
- wipe down and sanitize tables chairs and other surfaces
- keep service stations stocked with clean glassware utensils napkins and other necessary supplies
- inform kitchen and bar staff when additional supplies are needed
- assist guests by answering questions providing directions and accommodating special requests when possible
- safely transport used dishes and equipment to the dishwashing area using designated bussing carts
- help maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area
- collaborate with fellow bussers servers and kitchen staff to create a positive and efficient work environment
- be willing to assist in other areas of the establishment as needed
