Job Requirements

  • Read, understand and speak English
  • able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • able to stand for an eight-hour shift
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • able to reach above head and bend to put items on the floor or low shelves
  • able to climb stairs and ladders
  • able to repetitively lift glass racks, bus buckets and other items
  • able to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guest
  • able to work at a consistently fast pace in a loud environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an asset
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work effectively within a team
  • good physical stamina
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training manual
  • maintain, clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
  • assist with delivery of bread and water service
  • pre-bus and maintain tables consistently throughout shift
  • stock and maintain side stations
  • stock and maintain clean glassware, flatware and work areas throughout the restaurant
  • stock and maintain linen pars and levels
  • respond to guest requests in a clear and polite manner
  • complete daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis
  • assist other team members as necessary
  • stock and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
  • complete additional tasks as assigned by the management team
  • keep management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members
  • follow all company policies as outlined in company handbook
