Job Requirements
- Stands during entire shift
- Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, pours, carries, and pushes
- Lifts and carries tubs, trays, and cases weighing up to 25 lbs up to 20 times per shift
- Frequent exposure to high temperatures, humidity and cold
Job Qualifications
- Full-service restaurant kitchen experience is desired
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to be organized in a changing environment
- Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during periods of uncertainty or crisis
Job Duties
- Communicate with the host staff to update the floor chart continuously throughout the shift
- Collect menus and return them to the Host Area
- Perform a perimeter sweep at beginning and end of shift
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
- Ensure that every area is clean and maintained throughout the shift, both inside and out
- Assist the Servers by refilling waters, beverages and providing bread service during dinner hours
- Assist in bussing and resetting tables
- Inform Management immediately of Guests who are dissatisfied
- Maintain professional, composed and calm demeanor at all times
- Complete all side-work as directed
- Assist in an entire team effort
- All other duties as assigned
