Job Requirements

  • Must have ability to remain stationary for long periods of time
  • Must be able to bend and stoop on occasion and escort guests as needed
  • Must be able to stand and exert mobility for up to five hours
  • Must have ability to lift trays or soiled bins up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • Must wear slip-resistant shoes at all times while working

Job Qualifications

  • Entry-level position
  • Must possess friendly, outgoing, courteous, service-oriented personality
  • High School degree preferred but not required
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Job Duties

  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of front of the house including tables, chairs, floors, walls, windows, and restrooms
  • Assists in restocking dining room with silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and maintains adequate supplies in work stations when dining room is opened
  • May prepare beverages required for service including coffee and iced tea
  • Communicates with host/hostess and servers to maintain service efficiency
  • May assist servers in serving tables during rush periods
  • Assists in removing dirty dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave
  • Returns dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to dishwashing area and sorts items for proper disposition
  • Performs any restaurant function as needed
