Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
able to remain standing for extended periods
able to bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds for short distances
able to work with varying noise levels
able to remain balanced while carrying heavy loads
able to frequently communicate and exchange accurate information in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
able to comply with safety and sanitation protocols
able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous restaurant or hospitality experience helpful but not required
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
good communication and teamwork skills
strong guest service orientation
ability to multitask effectively
must be at least 18 years old
knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols
reliable and punctual
physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

Arrives to work on time as scheduled and ready to work
follows Miller's Ale House policies including time recording procedures
interacts with guests to provide high level customer service and create exceptional guest experiences
works with team members to fulfill guest needs and requests promptly
assists host/hostess with greeting and seating guests
assists servers with making and delivering non-alcoholic beverages
provides guests with non-alcoholic drink refills
helps servers run food to and from guests ensuring proper food handling
acknowledges all guests with a friendly smile within five feet
responds immediately to guest requests and inquiries
assists servers with table quality check backs (2-bite/2-minute)
cleans tables and spills during guest visits
pre-busses dishware as guests finish eating
removes all plate and glassware after guest departure
resets tables promptly with perfect silverware setup and cleanliness
collects bus tubs at quality assurance and server stations
empties trash cans in the restaurant
ensures proper food handling and sanitation of work areas
accomplishes end-of-shift side work including stocking and preparing work areas for the next shift
